Just as one can criticize the Zionism of Israeli policy without being anti-Semitic, one can criticize the autocratic character of the Russian and Chinese regimes without being Russophobic and Sinophobic, and criticize the inhumane treatment of women in Islamic states without being Islamophobic.
But the American wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Somalia and Yemen are not explained by a rejection of Islamist fundamentalism. The US proxy war against Russia is not explained by the rejection of the Russian autocratic regime. Similarly, the encirclement of China and the presence of American ships in the China Sea cannot be explained by the rejection of the Chinese autocratic regime. The American wars in the Middle East, the war against the Russians in Ukraine and the coming war with China are explained by the desperate attempt of the United States to avoid the collapse of its economic empire.
Now, to justify the wars that they are pursuing at a frantic pace, they are stirring up the Islamophobic, Russophobic and Sinophobic feelings of the population. The war against Islamist terrorism, Russiagate and now Huawei, Tik Tok and Chinese balloons, serve their hegemonic interests.
