Iran now finds itself facing Israel in 2024 in exactly the same position as the one Russia found itself toward the United States in 2021. Provocations are multiplying to make Iranian intervention sooner or later inevitable, which will then justify retaliation on the part of Israel, escalation being exactly what Israel is seeking to achieve against Iran.
The United States does not want a direct confrontation with Iran, but it is very happy to provide billions of dollars to Israel, allowing it to do the dirty work for them.
History is repeating itself because this is also what the United States sought to do against Russia from 2019 onwards by following the roadmap laid out in advance by the Rand Corporation in “Extending Russia”.
The US did not want a direct confrontation with Russia, but it was delighted to have been able to place neo-Nazis in charge of Ukraine that would do the dirty work for them. (xhttps://www.pressenza.com/fr/2023/10/le-probleme-du-nazisme-en-ukraine/ )
The solution for the Russians was to engage militarily, but in the form of a special military operation that they wanted to be short-lived, with specific objectives of denazification and demilitarization, in the hope of reaching a negotiated agreement as quickly as possible. It was this agreement, concluded as early as April 2022, that was quickly set aside and abandoned by the American and British protagonists, promoters of the escalation.
The behavior of the Americans towards the Middle East is based on the same lie. They say they are in favor of a ceasefire, but at the same time they seek to add fuel to the fire by subsidizing Israel so that it continues its genocide, just as they financed Ukraine so that it weakens Russia.
This version of events is not what is reported in the mainstream media, because it would be treated as Russian propaganda. The unanimity on this subject is caricatural and shows to what extent we are under the influence of a Russophobia entertained by American propaganda.
And yet, the similarity between the two situations is glaring. In both cases, the United States is using proxies. When it is not Ukraine, it is Israel. In both cases, the Americans seek to isolate or destroy a competitor to a Saudi oil sold in petrodollars. The Russians and Iranians within BRICS+ are increasingly considering the possibility of selling their oil and gas in their respective national currencies, or in the currency of the buyer. The Saudis recently sold their oil to China by charging them in yuan.
For the United States, it is absolutely crucial to preserve the dollar as the world’s reserve currency. With a debt reaching almost 35 trillions and a commercial balance deficit of one trillion dollars each year, they simply cannot afford to see a decrease in the value of the US dollar. This is the reason why they so violently fight to maintain their hegemonic position in the world. The Americans must neutralize or combat the recalcitrant competitors who seek to stand up to them and try to impose a multipolar world.
