I read the newspapers and watch TV. I notice that they all talk about Russian propaganda and disinformation, as well as our allies, the United States.
So we’re on the side of the American war machine that has been at work in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay. We are on the side of the country that has 800 military bases in 150 countries, and is responsible for 215 military interventions around the world since 1991. We are on the side of the country that imposes sanctions on 40 countries accounting for a third of the world’s population. We support a U.S. state that invests $900 billion a year in the military-industrial complex and has been at war almost continuously throughout its history. We support a country whose president is a Commander in Chief.
U.S. military interventions have resulted in millions of deaths in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. The U.S. is directly responsible for the desolation and devastation of Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, and partly responsible for the desolation and devastation of Syria, Somalia and several Latin American countries.
The Americans used the Mujahideen to fight the Russians in Afghanistan, the Contras to fight the Sandinistas in Nicaragua, the Kurds to fight DAESH and Al Qaeda to fight the Syrian regime… Now they’re using the Ukrainians to weaken Russia.
As we speak, they are investing heavily in Ukraine. They have warships in the China Sea, and militaries are based in Taiwan, which is a Chinese province, and therefore they are based in China. If that is not a provocation, I wonder what is. They even provide ammunitions to the taiwanese. They’re also setting up more military bases in the Philippines. They are sending Victoria Nuland to Niger, and are reported to have pressured Pakistan to sack its leader. Warships are present near Iranian territory. They turn a blind eye to the daily atrocities committed by the Israeli army in Palestine. They occupy a third of Syria and finance Saudi Arabia’s war in Yemen.
But let’s face it, they’re our allies, and just like us, they’re subjected to Russian propaganda.
There is no American propaganda. We know very well that Russia’s intervention in Ukraine was unprovoked. We know that Russia was not forced to intervene. We know that this is not a proxy war that the United States is waging against Russia. We know that this is not an economic war being waged by other means.
It was the Russians who bombed their own prison, as well as the Zaporizhia power plant, which was under their control. It was the Russians who killed Alexander Dugin’s daughter. They probably launched the missiles falling on the Kremlin themselves. They sabotaged their own gas pipeline. We all know this because CNN, MSNBC, the NYT and WP told us so.
